The Nebraska wrestling program has announced one date change and an addition to its 2009-10 schedule.
The Huskers' have added a fourth opponent at the Journeyman/Brute Northeast Duals in Troy, N.Y., on Nov. 28, as NU will now also compete against Appalachian State. The meeting with the Mountaineers is an addition to the previously scheduled duals with Binghamton, Lehigh and Hofstra, which remain the same. The Oklahoma State Cowboys are no longer competing at the Journeyman/Brute Northeast Duals.
Nebraska's road trip two weeks later has also seen a change, as the Huskers' dual at Minnesota has been moved from Sunday, Dec. 13 to Thursday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. Nebraska made the alteration due to a university rule that does not allow athletic teams to compete during the week of final exams.
The Huskers open the 2009-10 season against Wisconsin on Sunday, Nov. 15 at the NU Coliseum at 1 p.m. Nebraska is a co-host for the 2010 NCAA Championships at Qwest Center Omaha from March 18-20. Stay tuned to Huskers.com for ticket information.
