After beating No. 52 Denver and Oregon this past weekend, the Nebraska men’s tennis team has jumped 20 spots to No. 41 in the ITA Tennis Rankings released Tuesday, March 3. The Huskers previous ranking was No. 61. So far this season, NU has beaten four ranked teams including No. 52 Denver, No. 54 Drake, No. 57 Indiana, and No. 68 San Francisco.

“I think this quote by Paul Coffey describes my team right now best, ?Nobody's a natural. You work hard to get good and then work to get better.” McDermott said. “We’re anxious to start playing some home matches this weekend and want to continue to climb in the rankings and work hard each day and see what happens at the end of the year”
