Deland, Fla. ? The Nebraska baseball team will have to wait another day to play its first-ever game in the state of Florida, as the seventh-ranked Huskers' game against Notre Dame on Saturday has been postponed because of weather. Saturday night's game between Stetson and Iowa was also rained out, causing several changes to the previously announced schedule.
The Huskers will now play Iowa at 9 a.m. (central) before taking on Notre Dame at Noon (central). Both games will be carried on the Husker Sports Network (check local affiliates for broadcast info) and on Huskers.com. In addition, both games will be carried on Huskers.com and video-streamed on HuskersNside. Iowa is 2-1 on the season after beating Notre Dame, 8-1, earlier Saturday in a game shortened to seven innings because of weather.
Monday’s tournament finale against Stetson, a 5-4 winner over Notre Dame on Friday, will take place at 11 a.m. (central). That game will be carried on Huskers.com.
