Jordan Picou joins the Nebraska program after spending the past two seasons at Mount San Antonio Community College in Walnut, Calif. Picou will have three years to play two seasons at Nebraska. Picou will join his cousin, Rodney, at Nebraska this fall. Rodney is a highly touted prep prospect from Moreno Valley (Calif.) High School who is also a part of Nebraska’s 2005 class. Jordan Picou earned All-Mission Conference honors this season for Coach Bill Fisk at Mt. San Antonio, helping his team to an 8-3 record. He also earned first-team California all-state junior-college honors in 2004. In addition to his offensive line duties, the athletic Picou lined up at tight end early in the season and scored a rushing touchdown from the fullback spot. The 6-2, 320-pound Picou played his high school football at Eisenhower High School in Rialto, Calif., where he was an all-state selection. He also excelled in basketball, as the starting center on a basketball team, coached by his father, that won the National Junior Basketball Association tournament in 1999. Picou is the son of Danny and Alicia Picou, and was born on Oct. 2, 1985.
