Snyder, Powell Lead Huskers in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nev. -- The Nebraska wrestling team sits in eighth place with 58.50 team points after the first day of the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational Friday at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Michigan holds the team lead with 112.00 points.
The Huskers were led by their two returning Big 12 Champions, top-ranked senior Bryan Snyder and fourth-ranked sophomore Jason Powell.
Snyder, who upped his overall record to 10-0, advanced to the championship 157-pound semifinals with a 18-4 major decision victory over Adam Britt of VMI. All 10 of the Easton, Pa., native
