Six Huskers Post NCAA Qualifying Marks at NU Twilight

Lincoln -- Six Husker athletes recorded NCAA qualifying marks Saturday, as the Nebraska track and field team continued preparations for next weekend's Big 12 Outdoor Championships. NU won 21 of 35 events as it played host to the Nebraska Twilight meet at Ed Weir Stadium this afternoon.
Junior Melissa Price took first-place honors in the hammer throw with an automatic qualifying mark of 203-7, while junior Erin Wibbels finished second with a provisional mark of 191-2. Price currently leads the nation with her toss of 213-1 at the USTCA Team Championships on April 22.
Redshirt freshman Leann Boerema finished second in the shot put with a provisional mark of 50-6. Former Husker Tressa Thompson won the event with a mark of 54-6
