Lincoln - John Robinson II scored 19 of his career-high 25 points in the second half, as Nebraska posted a 75-67 win over Colorado in front of a crowd of 7,620 at the Devaney Center Saturday afternoon.
A 6-1 190-pound senior, Robinson played his best all-around game as a Husker, hitting 8-of-12 from the floor, including a pair of three-pointers, and 6-of-7 from the line, while also chipping in a pair of steals, two assists and drawing a key charge from Buffalo center David Harrison with four minutes remaining. Robinson eclipsed his NU career best of 20 against Savannah State on Jan. 2 and tied his overall collegiate high of 25 against Arkansas Pine Bluff as a freshman while at New Mexico during the 1998-99 season.
