The fourth-ranked Nebraska softball team continued its winning ways with a 4-2 victory over No. 25 Massachusetts at the Rose Mofford Softball Complex and a 10-2, five-inning run-rule decision against Southwest Texas State at ASU Farrington Stadium Saturday at the Arizona State Fiesta Bowl Classic.
Junior outfielder Nicole Trimboli led the Huskers offensively, going 5-for-8 with three RBIs and a home run, while senior center fielder Kim Ogee was 5-for-8 with two doubles and three runs scored. The Huskers produced 27 hits in two games, including 16 against the Bobcats in game two.
