Oklahoma City, Okla. --- Junior Jennifer Lizama finished off a career night with an eighth-inning solo home run as the Nebraska softball team came back from a five-run deficit to capture the 6-5 win over the Kansas Jayhawks Friday night. The extra-innings victory, which came after midnight, advanced the Huskers to a winner-take-all Big 12 Tournament final against the second-seed Texas Longhorns at 2 p.m., on Saturday. Nebraska improved to 31-18 overall and recorded its seventh-straight victory at the Big 12 Tournament. Lizama went 4-for-5 in the game with a pair of homers and three runs scored. Freshman pitcher Leigh Ann Walker, who came on in relief in the fourth, no-hit the Jayhawks over the final five innings stretching her consecutive no-hit innings pitched to nine.
