Javelin throwers pace Huskers at Polar Dog Invitational

Seward, Neb. -- Nebraska freshman Brynn Lervold, freshman Katie McClellan and sophomore Karissa Hagedorn swept the top three spots in the javelin at the Polar Dog Invitational on Saturday as several young Huskers competed in the outdoor event hosted by Concordia University.
Lervold won the event with a mark of 126-11, followed by McClellan's toss of 121-7 and Hagedorn's throw of 111-0
