Peaches James tossed a one-hit shutout to lead the ninth-ranked Nebraska softball team to a 1-0 upset victory over No. 5 Louisiana State Friday night at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Columbus, Ga. The sophomore righthander, now 4-3 on the season, struck out five and walked just two of the 26 batters she faced as the Huskers improved to 7-5 overall and picked up their first victory over a top-five team in 2002.
