Huskers Take Fourth At Florida Atlantic Invite

Boca Ration, Fla. -- The Nebraska Swimming and Diving team took home fourth place (259.50) at the five team Florida Atlantic Invitational this morning in Boca Raton, Fla. Penn won the meet with 967.50 points, while host Florida Atlantic finished second (694.50). Bucknell was third (509) and Binghamton was fifth (216.50).

Freshman Diana Torres, who joined the team just yesterday for the second semester, made an immediate impact in her first U.S. collegiate meet. A member of the Columbia World Championships Team, Torres finished fifth in both the 100- (1:00.93) and 200-yard (2:13.75) butterfly events. Torres also touched the wall in 2:15.19 in the 200-yard IM to take second, just 1.1 seconds out of first. Torres also had a hand in NU
