Lincoln -- On Dec. 19-21 and Dec. 21-23 Nebraska will be competing in Las Vegas, Nev., at the Las Vegas Invitational (Showboat Lanes) and the Collegiate Shoot-out (Sam's Town).

Teams that will be among the field for both tournaments include No. 4 Arizona State, California State - Fresno, California State - Fullerton, California State - Sacramento, No. 5 Central Missouri State, Eastern Illinois, Florida, Florida State (No. 9), University Illinois - Urbana, Iowa State, No. 2 Morehead State , Northern Illinois, San Jose State, Southern University, Southwest Missouri State, Texas A&M, West Texas A&M University and No. 3 Wichita State.

Huskers Dominate National Collegiate Matchgames
The Huskers placed first at the National Collegiate Matchgames Tournament at the Strike-N-Spare Lanes in St. Louis, Mo. The Huskers tallied 13,215 points with No .4 Arizona State finishing second with 13,136.

Nebraska was led by senior Kim Claus. The Mesquite, Texas native averaged 230 for the event and finished second in average.
