Lincoln -- Closing the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships at home, five Huskers advanced to the individual event finals, earning four top-five finishes.

Starting the evening on the floor exercise, junior Josh Rasile of Phoenix, Ariz., landed a career-high 9.30 on the floor exercise to finish in fourth. In his second event, the still rings, Rasile finished fifth with a 9.55.

The only freshman to advance to the individual event finals, Nic Matthews of Lincoln, Neb., was the second Husker to compete on the floor exercise, finishing sixth with an 8.70.

"Nic is really coming into his own this season," said Nebraska Head Coach Francis Allen.
