Husker Men and Women Take Shuttle-Hurdle Relay Titles
Lawrence, Kan. -- The Nebraska men's and women's shuttle-hurdle relay teams both finished first to lead the Husker track and field team at the Kansas Relays on Friday. "Anytime you can get a win, that's always good," Nebraska Head Coach Gary Pepin said. "The shuttle-relay times were especially good considering they were running into a pretty strong headwind on two of four legs." The NU men's shuttle-hurdle relay team (senior Kevin Carter, junior David Davis, sophomore Calvin Williams and junior Derek Zachary) finished in a time of 54.02 - ahead of Barton County, which posted a time of 54.27.
