Nebraska senior shortstop Amanda Buchholz was named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week for the week of March 10-16, as the conference office announced honorees for the past two weeks Tuesday.

Other selections included Oklahoma sophomore pitcher Kami Keiter (Big 12 Pitcher of the Week for March 10-16), Oklahoma State senior Lauren Bay (Big 12 Pitcher of the Week for March 17-23), and Texas A&M senior Crystal Martin (Big 12 Player of the Week for March 17-23).

Buchholz had her best offensive weekend of the season at the March 13-14 Kia Classic, where she went 6-for-13 (.462) with two home runs, a double, six RBIs and three walks in four games.
