The Holland Performing Arts Center is Omaha’s newest addition to the downtown landscape and joins the Omaha Community Playhouse, Opera Omaha and The Rose as attractions where artistic stage productions and performances are held year round.
Since the opening of Qwest Center Omaha, the arena has played hosts to sold out concerts including U2, Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney. The arena will also bring national attention as it prepares to host the 2008 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials, 2008 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championships, the 2010 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship, the first and second round games of the 2008 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship and the 2010 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship.
