Before Nebraska (Southeast HS)
Desmond Robinson comes to the Nebraska program as a walk-on receiver after starring at Lincoln Southeast High School, one of the state's top prep programs. The 5-9, 155-pound Robinson was a standout receiver for Coach Ryan Gottula's team. In 2012, Robinson helped the Knights to the state quarterfinals by catching 18 passes for 363 yards and three touchdowns. Robinson was an honorable-mention all-state choice by both the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World-Herald. Robinson also earned honorable-mention all-state accolades as a junior when he helped the Knights to the Class A state title. Robinson graduated from Southeast High School in May of 2013 and didn't enroll anywhere in the Fall of 2013.
