2018 (Redshirt)
Breon Dixon was granted immediate eligibility to play at Nebraska in 2018 after transferring from Ole Miss. Dixon, who played as a true freshman at Ole Miss in 2017, appeared on special teams in each of the final four games for the Huskers in 2018. By playing in only four games, Dixon preserved his redshirt season, and he will be a sophomore in 2019. Dixon recorded his lone tackle of the season with a solo stop on kickoff coverage at Iowa.

Before Nebraska (Peachtree Ridge HS/Grayson HS/Ole Miss)
Breon Dixon appeared in six games as a true freshman at Mississippi in 2017, finishing the season with five tackles. He helped Ole Miss to a 6-6 record, finishing with at least one tackle in three games, including a season-high three tackles at Alabama.

Dixon came to Ole Miss after a standout prep career in Georgia. An Under Armour High School All-American, Dixon was a consensus four-star recruit and was ranked among the nation’s top 150 overall players and top 10 linebackers by ESPN. In the Under Armour All-America Game, Dixon led Team Highlight with three tackles for loss.

As a senior at Grayson High School, Dixon totaled 64 tackles, two interceptions, 12 sacks and more than 20 tackles for loss. He helped Grayson to a 14-1 record and the 2016 Georgia 7A state title. He spent his first three seasons at Peachtree Ridge High School, recording 12 sacks and four interceptions as a junior.

Breon was born on Sept. 16, 1998, and is the son of Tomeka Lockhart and Lee Dixon. He has not declared a major.
